St. Annes Camogie Club

St. Anne’s Camogie Club was founded in 1964 following a meeting held in Fr. Kennedy’s house in Dillonstown.

The club name St. Anne’s and the club uniform a lemon gym-slip, white shirt and black tights with black canvas boots were chosen. Fr. Kennedy was elected chairperson, assisted by Mary Keaskin, secretary and treasurer Mary Leonard.

Since then there has been a lot of changes but a strong tradition of Camogie in Togher has remained throughout the years. Our uniform is now a bottle green Skort (yes skort not skirt) with amber Jersey (black tights and canvas boots are long gone).

The club has had many successful years at both senior and juvenile level.
