There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra & St. Anne's G.F.G. Lotto draw held on Wednesday 23rd June. The winning numbers were 6, 14, 21 & 28. There were 4 match 3 winners Regina Doyle, Geraldine Valelly, Sorcha Callan & Karen Clarke who won €40 each.  Next week's Jackpot is €10,500!!  Lotto envelopes are available in local shops, through usual sellers and entries may also be purchased online on the Clubforce App - Naomh Fionnbarra or the following link:


On Sunday the Ladies were beaten by Gleann Maretin in the 3rd Round of the League. The Junior men were well beaten by Kilkerley Emmets in the 2nd Round of Division 5A.  Well done to all boys and girls who took part in the U7, U8, U10 & U11 football blitzes during the week against Newtown Blues & Wolfe Tones, St. Fechins, Naomh Martin, Roche Emmets, Dundalk Young Irelands & Dreadnots.  There was lots of great football on display from all teams.  All kids had a great time and are looking forward to their next blitz.  Thanks to all kids, parents, referees and coaches for making it all possible.  Hard luck to the U16 girls who lost their second game of the season on Wednesday evening against Roche Emmets.  Well done to the U12 girls who had a super win over Naomh Martin on Thursday evening in their first game of the season.  The U17 boys had a good result with a win over Cooley Kickhams on Friday.  The U15 boys had a comprehensive win over Geraldines B on Monday night.  While the U13 boys continued their good start in Division 1 with an excellent win over Baile Talun.  The U12 camogie team took part in at John Markey Park on Saturday morning.  Well done to all!

Last Saturday was the second of four sessions of the Beginner Social Camogie/Hurling for Parents and Adults. A massive well done to all who attended on Saturday and thank you to our coach Úna Caraher for facilitating the program.  Are you interested in trying something new or learning the basic skills to play with your child?  Hurl With Me is non-competitive, free of charge and no experience necessary.  Session 3: Saturday 26th June 10:30am-11:30am John Markey Park, Ballgassan.  Hurls and helmets will be provided by the club on loan but please bring your own if you have them.  Please register through the following link:

Hard luck to the Louth Senior Footballers who were beaten by Offaly in the 1st Round of the Leinster Senior Football Championship on a score line of 3-19(28) to 0-19(19). 

Well done to the Louth Ladies Footballers who beat Leitrim in the Division 4 Final of the Lidl Ladies Football League on a score line of 4-9(21) to 1-14(17).  The Ladies are now promoted to Division 3 for the 2022 season.


Naomh Fionnbarra & St. Anne’s GFG Cul Camp is from 26th to 30th July.  Numbers will be limited due to Covid restrictions.  So, book early!!!  Once numbers are reached for each camp the bookings will close.

The club would like to thank Peter Callan and the Grounds Committee for their hard at work over the weekend in John Markey Park lining the training pitch and putting up the goals in preparation for the upcoming season.


The club would like to express our deepest sympathy to the families of John Maguire, Dillonstown Lane & Jim Lynch, The Gallagh, formerly Chapelizod. May they Rest In Peace.
